MatchWare Mediator 5
Mediator 5 can create great presentations, just like PowerPoint, but it can also do much more. The full version, usually priced at £27, is free for PC User readers this month, thanks to MatchWare.

With simple point-and-click, event-driven programming, any novice can turn their ordinary slideshows into sophisticated, interactive multimedia presentations. Without writing a line of code, you can add videos, audio, pictures and animations that operate with a click of a button, a change of a page, or another trigger. Mediator provides wizards for easily creating electronic product catalogues, invitations, greeting cards, photo albums and even a fancy menu for your videos. And when you’ve finished your project, you can distribute your presentations as EXE files via CD or the Internet.

Also included in this months package is Mediator 5 Plug-in, to help you create better presentations with more features.
